Everyone at the practice is committed to providing you with the very best dental health care. The team bring a wealth of experience to the practice and individually have obtained high professional qualifications.
Dr Angela Huddart BDS (VU Manc) Our Practice Principal graduated from The Turner Dental School in Manchester in 1976. She first started work in the practice in 1979 as an associate becoming a partner in 1996 and then sole principal in 1998. Angela has gained extensive practical experience working in the Community Dental Service, as a Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics and also for The West Midland Regional Plastic and Jaw Surgery Unit. In 2004-2006 Angela worked with the University of Birmingham as a trainer in General Dental Practice training newly qualified dentists. Angela combines general dental care with a special interest in facial aesthetics.
Dr Richard J Cresswell BDS (U Liverpool) is our associate Dental Surgeon; he was born in Stourbridge but moved to Codsall at the age of 3. At 18 he went to study dentistry at the University of Liverpool. After graduation and registration with the General Dental Council in 2001, he moved back to this area, working for the last 7 ½ years in Shropshire and Staffordshire. Richard is delighted to be joining the team at Codsall Dental Practice and is looking forward to working at such great new facilities. He has a special interest in Periodontics (gum health) and restorative dentistry. Richard married his wife Jenny in 2007 and in their spare time they are both active members of their church, where Richard is a licensed Reader.
Helen Ibbs-George is our resident Hygienist. She joined us in 2003 after working in a variety of practices. Helen gained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at The Turner Dental School in Manchester in 1988. She enjoys working in a caring prevention based environment.
Carol Bradley is one of our Dental Hygienists who joined our practice a year ago working part-time. She also works at another practice and has been there for many years. Carol originally began her career as a Dental Nurse then went on to Qualify as a Hygienist in 1995. She lives within the local area and is happily married with two beautiful children.
Sarah Wylie Our Senior Dental Nurse joined our practice in November 2008 but has been nursing for a total of twelve years and qualified nine years ago. Throughout that time she has dealt with both NHS and private sectors and has worked in general and specialist practices. She has gained qualifications in both Radiography and Dental Sedation. Sarah feels she has learnt very different and valuable teachings throughout the course of her career and benefited from this greatly.
Jo Rowson has worked at Codsall Dental Practice for the past fourteen years and completed the National Qualification as a Dental Nurse in 1993. Jo now works part-time after having her second child two years ago. Jo attends all of our training courses and enjoys learning new skills and developing her dental knowledge as much as she can.
Emily Walker is one of our Nationally Qualified Dental Nurses who joined our private practice in February 2008 after leaving an NHS practice that she worked at for three years. Emily Qualified in 2007 and has studied various courses outside of work including Management and an Introductory course in Sedation. She has recently got married and her aim this year is to complete her Radiography Qualification with a desire to further her Dental knowledge.
Lynsey Brown is one of our Nationally Qualified Dental Nurses that trained and gained her qualification in 2004 whilst working here at Codsall Dental Practice. Lynsey has worked at this practice for seven years and specializes in four-handed dentistry. In January 2009 she gave birth to her beautiful son Joshua and now works part-time. However, Lynsey is committed to gaining further qualifications and is hoping to enroll on the Radiography course in the future.
Elizabeth Malin Elizabeth is our part – time receptionist who has been with us since 2007 and has been a dental receptionist for a total of 18 years. She is married with two adult children. Elizabeth attends all of our Denplan Courses so she is up to date with the latest procedures and protocols.
